In life, we can either let our experiences make us bitter, or we can channel that feeling towards being a good example in order to improve things.

Nothing like family

Just a poem I made recently

-

They all moved away from home.

While the siblings
came back once in a while,
One decided not to.

Content with life,
this one just went about
their days.
But then came hard times.
Close individuals showed support.
But what really moved them,
was to see their brother and sister
standing right by them.
There's nothing like family

Wow this certainly hit home now..I've been in a situation recently where we really saw that true loyalty can only be found in family.

A small part of me decided to move away. She yearned for the old brick and the soft grass. She looked for more to experience. I was drawn to the sparkling city. This place of potential where all things can be, if you only let them.
Without her I am less of myself, and yet we are also more. Sometimes the heart aches for what it is without, but the space is made smaller by the comfort of the stars. And the roads that separate sisters start to become only that.
