In life, we can either let our experiences make us bitter, or we can channel that feeling towards being a good example in order to improve things.

Reality or a dream

Just a story I was thinking about. Here it is.

Ryan went to work that morning and later came back to his apartment. The next day after work, as he walked outside towards his car, he saw his friend across the street and waved to him and then went inside the car.
One day, while going home, he decided to keep driving. After some time, he found himself in a place that he has never been to before. He wondered where he was and looked around at the scenery. Then the car stopped going. He tried starting it again but without success. And so he got out of the car and started walking around. It was getting late and the the place had a creepy feel to it. There, he saw his friend again. What's he doing here? He thought.
"Wake up." His friend said.
What's he talking about? Ryan wondered.
Then in the distance, he saw a car with bright headlights quickly coming towards him. He started running but the car was catching up. And so he turned a corner and oddly enough saw his friend standing there and the friend said again, "Wake up."
Was he dreaming? Ryan wondered. But it can't be a dream. It was too real. He kept running and finally out of desperation he tried to wake up.
His eyes opened and he saw his friend standing next to his bed. "Man, you are the hardest to wake up!" His friend said. "It's one PM lets go. The others are waiting for us at Starbucks."

happens all the time. the dreams meshes into reality and it is difficult to figure out what was real and what was the dream...

Like Rafi said, it does happen a lot.
Am I dreaming, am I dreaming that I'm dreaming etc...?
Cute story!

Great writer, it's good to wake up from a weird or scary dream.

Rafi and Prag, yep, it's hard to tell. Unless it's just too weird, then I know something's up. lol

My alarm clock always used to be part of my dreams. It would take (seemingly) forever to realize that it was really just the alarm. I would be dreaming sirens, or a fire drill, or something, and really wonder why the sound didn't seem to stop or get any farther away. Then, still dreaming, I'd turn it off and go on dreaming... It doesn't really happen anymore since I got a vibrating alarm clock ;)

That's happened to me where I heard it and didn't know it was the alarm. What's also happened is that I heard people talking in the hallway and it became part of my dream.

It happens to me too, dreams being mistaken as reality, nightmares especially. And it's hard to wake up from a very realistic, scary dream. It's like you know you could be dreaming and wanting to wake up, trying to scream and ask for help, but it's just so hard. Until suddenly, you just open your eyes and thank God that scary dream is over.

Nice story, very realistic.
