In life, we can either let our experiences make us bitter, or we can channel that feeling towards being a good example in order to improve things.

Tips from a paper towel

Last week, I was looking at a paper towel that had very good tips written on it. I don't remember most of them, but there was one that really stuck in my mind. It suggested that when one is cutting up an onion, they should put a lit candle nearby so they won't tear up while cutting the onion. I haven't tried it and so I don't know if it's works or not. But it should be an interesting experiment.

Then again, there's always the electric chopper. :)

Have a great 4th of July everyone

there's also the option of not using onions at all, iµthat's fien with me as I don't like them at all.

Because Chas Veshalom if the paper towel the tip is on, ignites from the candle that takes the onion smell away, then you'd be too busy extinguishing the fire to worry about onion smells.

Great I'm going to try that I always cry like a baby when I peel onions. Cool you never know who and what you can get tips from.

i heard if you use a really long knife it also helps. it has to be realllly long though. basically so you could be in another room. or preferably another city or neighbourhood.

ok stick the onion in the freezer, then take out when its frozen, put on ure sunglasses, stick your tongue out, wear nose plugs, light a candle, start a fire in your kitchen and use a ten foot knife.. and you should be fine..
