This happened a long while ago. I was on the metro bus going to Santa Monica College and I was looking at a passenger who I've seen on the bus before, and then I looked away. Later during the day, when I was riding home, I saw the same person on the bus. It was really odd. What are the chances that we will get on the same bus going back. Has this ever happened to you?
Another time, I called my friend R. and we made plans to meet during the week and do something. Later, I got on a bus to go somewhere and a few stops later, R. got on the bus too and was going somewhere else. And I was thinking, I thought we agreed to meet on wednesday, lol :)
It's really interesting how these things happen.

It depends; if a certain person takes a particular bus regularly, than it's not so weird.
But anyhow samll coincidences happen every now and then.
I agree that if me and that lady, lets say go with a 10:00 bus every morning, that would be something usual. But it rarly happens that I see them again in the afternoon because we leave at different times from where we each were at. That's why I was surprised to see her get on the same bus as me again.
I'm actually surprised that I don't run into the same people more often along my route, lulei demistafina.

Nowadays when I go somewhere with a bus, I still see some of the same indeviduals I did before.
The chance of meeting the same party twice a day are indeed very slim, but they must exist, for currently there is no rule which says that if you meet someone once you will not meet him agagin that day...

It actualy happened to me. She was a beautiful Ethiopian girl, and not only were we sharing the same bus again, but we had initially waited at the stop together when boarding, and then got off the same time again when returning after work.
I tried chatting her up and getting friendly but after that initial encounter I never saw her again.
If I'm on a bus with someone in the morning, i don't usually see them on the bus again in the afternoon because we leave at different times from where we were at. It just so happend that on that day we somehow saw each other on the bus again.
