In life, we can either let our experiences make us bitter, or we can channel that feeling towards being a good example in order to improve things.

Something deeper going on here

Some things are not logical, like how the world can be so against good guys, and supportive of radicals. You would think that people would be able to tell the difference between regular inviduals and people who want to destroy. But I guess, like they say, if you tell a lie long enough, people believe it. The bad side looks good, and the good, bad. There are many countries who commit atrocities to people and yet people generally focus on us. Of course, with other things going on now, people are also focusing on others, but also still on us. With so much attention on us through the years, something deeper has to be going on. The world doesn't care about us(if they can justify the murder of a family). Of course, we should still try to inform people and help them understand our side. But overall, we generally can't count on the world. We really only have each other and Hashem. We need to stick together and to the One Above. With unity and prayer, we have strength and blessing. It might be hard to do, but we can each make a difference.

I think if we behave with more Ahavas Yisrael, that will make a huge difference. For example, thinking about how many of our fellow Jews are in need in one way or another and lending them a helping hand to really get them on their feet to the extent possible. Prayer is certainly very precious and important, but, I think that this approach will probably actually solve the problem. We got into this galus not because we did not eat triple glatt kosher or wear five Streimelach (to quote Reb Shlomo z"l). We got into this golus because of apathy to our fellow Jews' situation. So doesn't it make sense that this is also the doorway out?

What do you think?

I agree, we need to stick together in order to be a strong people. We might have differences, but we can disagree and still be nice to each other. It might look impossible for the whole nation, but each of us can do something. We shouldn't wait until tragedy happens. Lets come together now.
There is this beautiful site called www.SHABBAT.COM where guests can be matched with hosts. It's great for both unity and mitzvos. - Plus, just being a good friend to someone can help. Like, I gave this young Jewish lady, who doesn't receive shalach monos, a package and she really appreciated it. Our prayers and closness to each other can really have a great spiritual impact.
