worth the wait

waiting and waiting
it takes time,
and so I keep going.
When will the one come-

Years go by,
I do other things
and enjoy the moment
while I can.
I pray for both
myself and others;

Someone suggests
an idea and I call
a friend.
It is set up and
we see how it goes.
