In life, we can either let our experiences make us bitter, or we can channel that feeling towards being a good example in order to improve things.

Which do you prefer

-

Which do you prefer, staying home for the seder or going away to a hotel or something? I have always stayed home, although I would like to experience it in a hotel to see what it's like. But I think at home is probably best, it's more personal and less expensive. :)

What do you do?

we've always been at home. or with family.

this year we're away but at friends. i think it's about the company you have, family etc, in the end, rather than how many pools your resort has and how many thousands of dollars it cost just to avoid a little bit of cleaning!

Love being at home and making the seder. Which is strange, because any other time, I love going away and having other people do the cleaning for me! ;-)

I've always had them at home, but I think there might be something to be said for getting away as well. When you have a minute, I'd like to invite you to check out a new online Jewish publication that deals with a variety of questions on Jewish culture and identity, including how we create meaningful connections to Judaism in modern times.
