In life, we can either let our experiences make us bitter, or we can channel that feeling towards being a good example in order to improve things.

two years

Wow, these two years have gone by so fast. And the community has grown so much. I miss some former bloggers, but I'm happy about the recent ones that have shown up. I looked through my old posts and it was very interesting to go back and remember.

What's funny is that when I started reading blogs, I felt that I just want to be a reader. However, later I decided to start my own. Probably happens to many :)

I've met only one fellow blogger, and found out that his family lives a few blocks north of me. I also found out that his wife is friends with my girlfriend. My girlfriends and I went to their vort and I was so excited to see what he looks like. I didn't tell him though who I am.
Later, I found out about a blogger who's family lives on the same block as me. I didn't get to meet her but I met her sister awhile ago.

Also, remember when we all had to switch to beta? It has its ups and downs. I like the customize option though.

Well that's it. Remember to live and smile.

I haven't had any problems with beta :P

Now that I think of it, you were one of the first Jblogs I found and one of the first to welcome me. I'm approaching a year....wow time flies.

Here's to another year. L'chaim.

Ezzie & Scraps, thanks

Nuch, lol, thanks :)

Chaverah, yeah a couple of them. They moved away and stopped blogging though. But it was nice.

Sara, I haven't had problems with beta either, BH. I heard others did though.
I remember when you were new, time really does fly.

Thanks, yea it is pretty cool to see them. - What's nice about beta is that we can costumize our template.

Happy blogiversary :)

You know that blog years are equivalent to dog years, so each blog year is considered... Shoin ;)

I went out on four dates with a girl who commented on my blog, and met up with three other folks including one other blogger.

I have been blogging for a year and unlike you- prior to opening a blog I had never even heard of the thing. No idea what they were at all.

I wish there could be some kind of convention for all the J-bloggers to get together and whoever wanted to remain anonymous could and so on. They have done it in Israel- why not here.

It could even be a singles event since I have noticed that most of the more popular J-bloggers are single. Single women of course- which would rock for me.

CS, thanks, I know what you mean

FS, I agree about the Jblogger convention, that would be awesome. I have imagined a bunch of us meeting in person. maybe someday

you're right I guess I could try to see if I can meet with a couple people the next time I take a trip. I don't know if it will happen or not. But that's okay
