In life, we can either let our experiences make us bitter, or we can channel that feeling towards being a good example in order to improve things.

My turn

Jewmaican20 tagged me and so here goes

1) Each player lists 8 facts/habits about themselves.
2) The rules of the game are posted at the beginning before those facts/habits are listed.
3) At the end of the post, the player then tags 8 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

1. I was born in October 1980

2. I like to write stories but sometimes don't have the motivation to finish it. And sometimes I do.

3. I don't have the many gadgets that others have. They are too expensive. And I don't need them anyway.

4. I love looking at a cute dad holding his child

5. I would love to give myself a tour of places that I haven't been to in this city or only went to like two or three times. Only the areas I like of course.

6. I like scary movies, but find commercials for torture movies to be disgusting and avoid those. Some people go for the scare and since people have become desensitized, writers feel that they need to make it more scary and gruesome. But I go for the interesting story, and slowly torturing someone with an electric screw drive or something is Not entertaining. Fortunately there still some interesting DVDs out there.

7. Ever since taking astronomy, I sometimes like to look up and see how many stars I can see. Usually it's only two or three and it's hard to tell if it's a star or something else. I would love to go to the dessert and see the sky covered with them.

8. I got my ears pierced when I was a kid and wore earrings for awhile and then my left ear got infected and i had to wait for it to heal before putting them back on. However, I got use to not wearing them and forgot to put them back on and the holes closed up. I've been meaning to get them pierced again so I can wear the earrings but I haven't gotten around to it.

okay I pick behind a smile, come running, towik, socialworker and Scraps

I like the classic horror movies, namely the zombie flicks.
I write too. I'm about three quarters of the way done with a story, and it's taking considerably longer than expected...

:-)

L, I'm working on it. But there are some things that I don't have enough knowledge on, and it's really difficult to do research...

David, it depends whether or not it's a clear night. :) I like comedies too

Jewmaican, That sometimes happens to me where I have an idea for a story but not enough info on it.

It's amazing how many more stars you can see on a really clear night in the middle of nowhere.

I really liked how you answered your tag. A lot of people have done this tag and not really disclosed anything about themselves. I feel like I got to know you better from this. :)

Sorah, yeah

Sara, glad you liked

I also find commercials for horror movies disturbing. In fact, the part of Pan's Labyrinth that gave me nightmares was the torture scene, not the creepy dark fantasy (I like dark fantasy.)
