In life, we can either let our experiences make us bitter, or we can channel that feeling towards being a good example in order to improve things.

time

Time flies right by
And before our eyes
We're not kids anymore
We have become
The parent generation

Memories of years past
Flash by like it was yesterday
But as I reminisce
I also want to enjoy the moment
And make new memories
To have for later
Because the only chance I have
Is now

So true.

But I want the "now" not just to become a memory, but to be the foundation of further growth.

Excellent.
Create your now and you create your future.
And drop some artifacts for when you need to remind yourself.

"Parent" generation?
Only if one IS a parent.

true I'm not a parent yet and some others aren't either, but I'm talking about in general we are the parent generation now. Especially in my community and some other communities where there are parents in their 20's

Yups scary how time flies.

I like the way you puts it.

The best we can do is try to make every moment a positive memory for the future.
