In life, we can either let our experiences make us bitter, or we can channel that feeling towards being a good example in order to improve things.

Trying

I was talking to someone and they brought up a good point about something that I need to work on. And this is how I feel.

I know what to do.
I just need to do it.
Pay attention
And you'll succeed.
It's just seems like
Even when I try,
I'm still not doing enough.
Then again, it takes time
Besides effort.
Okay, no more procrastinating
I'm going to pay attention
And try harder this time.
B'ezrat Hashem.
And also keep in mind that
Every effort counts.

i think the line about "every effort counts" should be somewhere higher in your calculations. dont be so hard on yourself..

Every effort does count, that one of the major differences between people and The One Above, on this earth only result matters, H'Ashem however sees the effort we put into something and it matters more than the result.

Good for you, hatzlacha. Every step does count and you should be proud of any progress.

By setting your mind to working on yourself, you're already halfway there!
