In life, we can either let our experiences make us bitter, or we can channel that feeling towards being a good example in order to improve things.

Huh?

Have you ever done something that was really weird?

One of my friends a while ago had an assignment to go and do something different and see what reation they get from people. And so she went to a clothing store and asked them where their tomatoes are. They looked at her funny and then told her that they don't sell tomatos they're a clothing store.

Reminds me of what my brother and I pretended to do when we were younger. We played a game where we pretended to call the operator and order a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and other stuff. Man, that was funny.

What can I say? I like weird stuff. Probably why I like the Twilight Zone. It's so creative.

Interesting experiment, though I think I can guess what their reaction must've been like.
I'm not so sure I'm a fan of weird too but I know that I love Barbara Jean on Reba!Too weird for words.

On that theme, I require the wherabouts of some doorknob musicians who play while knitting underwater macrame.

Weird is good.

EVER????

Trust me, I do really weird stuff ALLLLLL the time.

Just ask anyone who knows me. My best friend tells me that I'm nuts at least 1-3 times a week.

Well I just might! I really have wanted to for the longest time. The scary thing is knowing me I will do it and embarrass myself. We only live once. Why not enjoy life.

You should read about a psychiatrist named Albert Ellis who does this with his patients to cure them of shyness.

we used to go to to WalMart and fill up a huge wagon full of stuff..and at checkout would ask if they accept some form of payment we knew they didnt...and when they said No..We'd just leave it there...

oh my! i did the same thing to the operators. how crazy is that? Me and my friends would do more then just ask for a sandwich. Crazy stuff. Life is boring with out the weird and crazy and thats why we the bloggers are here. To enlighten the world with new and crazy stuff!

my sis had to do something like that in a sociology class -so she would stand in an elevator with her back to the door, since everyone else faces the door...weird...but ppl never say anything, just give you weird looks. sounds like fun, but i wouldn't know if i'm at my floor!

smb said...

I guess you would have to mentally count the floors after you get on so you know when you're at your floor. :)

this past weekend me and my friends tried to pay at a brooklyn restaurant with a 100 shekel bill (the owner and the waiters discussed it for like 10 minutes before the shy waitress came back to tell us they dont accept shekels)... another thing my friend likes to do is get a couple of tomatoes at the shuk in israel and then offer to pay using her american express card - they go nutsssss! (dont worry we always end up paying with the expected currency in the end :)
i love weird stuff

smb said...

I guess some places don't take american express, lol :)
thanks for sharing

Thats pretty funny. I am thinking about trying that myself. I enjoy yelling things while I am on the subway with somone to embarass them. I love getting reactions from people. One weird thing to do which I always want to do but am scared is to sneak behind someone riding a bike while you are driving and just honk the horn when you get close and see if they fall off their bike.
