In life, we can either let our experiences make us bitter, or we can channel that feeling towards being a good example in order to improve things.

My self given tour

Have you ever given yourself a tour of your own city?

That's what I sometimes do. I love walking around on streets I don't usually see and just take in the scenery.

And so this past Wednesday afternoon, after leaving the place I was at, I decided that instead of hopping on a bus and going straight home, I'll take the scenic route and give myself a little walking tour.
It was really enjoyable because the area I was walking through (which is mainly residentual) is a very nice area and so it enhanced it.

Not many people do this. And it's understandable, either they don't have time or they're just use to taking the same route all the time. I guess in this case, I like to think outside of the box and go inside an area I haven't paid much attention to.

Deffinately added some flavor to the day.

I so understand what you mean. I walk around like a tourist too. lol. Mainly because some areas are so pretty.

Also, I agree about Jerusalem from what I heard.
Right now I have to stick with pics. until I can go.

i love discovering new places, even in my own city. there is always something new to see if you make that extra bit of effort. i try to find new places that aren't too far away so that there's more variety to where i can later take friends instead of the same old hang outs. when travelling it's more exciting though because it's totally new or simply different to normal.
