In life, we can either let our experiences make us bitter, or we can channel that feeling towards being a good example in order to improve things.

Reality or a dream
Just a story I was thinking about. Here it is.
Ryan went to work that morning and later came back to his apartment. The next day after work, as he walked outside towards his car, he saw his friend across the street and waved to him and then went inside the car.
One day, while going home, he decided to keep driving. After some time, he found himself in a place that he has never been to before. He wondered where he was and looked around at the scenery. Then the car stopped going. He tried starting it again but without success. And so he got out of the car and started walking around. It was getting late and the the place had a creepy feel to it. There, he saw his friend again. What's he doing here? He thought.
"Wake up." His friend said.
What's he talking about? Ryan wondered.
Then in the distance, he saw a car with bright headlights quickly coming towards him. He started running but the car was catching up. And so he turned a corner and oddly enough saw his friend standing there and the friend said again, "Wake up."
Was he dreaming? Ryan wondered. But it can't be a dream. It was too real. He kept running and finally out of desperation he tried to wake up.
His eyes opened and he saw his friend standing next to his bed. "Man, you are the hardest to wake up!" His friend said. "It's one PM lets go. The others are waiting for us at Starbucks."

my goal
Sometimes, we pray and pray for something but don't get what we are asking for.
For instance, I had a certain small goal for myself that I felt would help me out a lot and so I prayed and put alot of effort into getting it. Well I didn't succeed and felt awful. I was almost there at reaching my goal and I failed. Plus, I was worried that it would take a while to get back and start again. Fortunately, it didn't take as longed as I feared to start again. I thank G-d for that. I guess it just wasn't the right time. But, B'H, I can start right away to try again.

Isn't it interesting how we know each other on the computer but if we were to see each other, we would have no idea that's who we're talking to. Unless we give each other information before meeting. - We could all be in a room together and have no idea, lol. Of course some might be able to figure it out while having a conversation.
If someone in that room found out about you, would you be embarrassed or pleasantly surprised? I think for me it depends. If it's someone I don't know, I would be pleasantly surprised. And if it's someone I know, I would be embarrassed.

A scenario
Here's a scenario. S punched V in the face. -- Z saw the whole thing and went and told others of what S did. What did Z accomplish? Nothing but make a bunch of people dislike S.
What should Z do instead? Talk to S when he's calm because if Z doesn't like what he saw, then he should tell him directly. And if S won't listen, then get someone he will listen to, to talk to him.
Of course, if he's dangerous, then people should be alerted. But if he's not usually like that and he is generally a good man, then it's best to talk to him or get someone else to. He might slip again once in awhile, but at least with this approach, we have a chance of getting something done instead of causing people to dislike someone and not getting anything done to fix the man's behavior.

happiness
Many people think of happiness as a destination that they would like to get to. I use to feel the same way and kept waiting and waiting. But I found that really, we can be happy whenever we choose. However, it takes a lot of effort because sometimes we feel crappy. Especially when we're in a tough situation, or feel like we're not getting anywhere in life.
On the one hand, not feeling content motivates us to move forward toward our goals. But those goals may take a long time to accomplish and so we might as well try to enjoy life along the way while going forward.
