In life, we can either let our experiences make us bitter, or we can channel that feeling towards being a good example in order to improve things.

Ouote of the day

Here's a really nice quote.

"The most I could do for my friend is simply to be his friend"

-Henry David Thoreau

And here's the link to the pic

This really speaks to me because there's nothing like a good friend. I love spending time with my friends when ever I can. Usually it's on shabbos when we're not busy. And also when we pass each other once in awhile, while walking Or in a store. I look forward every shabbos to sitting with them in their living room and then going for a walk with them and visiting someone else.

Do you have an inspiring or funny quote you like? Please share it.

Almost here

This year my family and I are staying home for pesach like we usually do. Although, I would like to go to a hotel like in San Diego or something just to do something different. However it's nice at home too. As for the cleaning, we still have a bit more to do, but we're almost done.

As we go into Pesach this year, we should think about the
lessons it offers and use those to help us grow. Have a happy and kosher pesach everyone. :)

Okay, here we go. This was like almost 2 weeks ago.

Wednesday, my family and I were in NJ and my mother and a couple siblings and I went to Long Island to visit my grandmothers grave. Later, at my sister's place in NJ, I was shooting hoops with my niece. She's so cute. Thursday was very hectic because we had to get ready for brother's wedding. And so we got the hair and makeup and everything done. And later we finally got to the hall. It was a beautiful wedding. One thing that was really interesting was that there were haggadahs wrapped in plastic on each table. Pretty clever.

After the wedding, My parents and single brother and sister and I stayed in a suite in flatbush for the weekend. On friday, we went out for lunch and then later got ready for the sheva bracha. The first one was at the kalla's sister's house and also the second one on shabbos afternoon. There was also one on sat. night in a restaurant. Then we went back to NJ. On Sunday, I had a nice time with my nieces and nephew. Plus, it was beautiful outside. The sheva bracha for that day was in Lakewood at the kalla's brother's house. Which is a good drive from my sister's house. On Monday afternoon we left. I was expecting the weather to be cold during the trip but it wasn't. It was just right, BH.

Well there it is. Have a good week and happy pesach.
